No way this is a 4 stars hotel !!!
Hotel lobby is decently ok, and the experience with their staff was good, but the hotel rooms, our family used three of them, are very outdated, bathrooms really need a mayor improvement, A/C in room 307 dripped water the whole first night, and was repaired next day. At least 3rd floor hallway carpet is really in bad shape, stains all over, specially in front of elevator. The best mayor plus of the hotel is its location, but other than that it qualify for a low 3 stars hotel.
The rooms are very small. Most do not have a view of the ocean unless you go out on the balcony and stretch your neck to see. Housekeeping was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel (we are frequent travelers). Coffee was never replenished, and door keys did not work, had to get them reprogrammed everyday until approximately Day 5. (They kept saying we kept them near our mobile phones, which was not true). Glasses were not cleaned (appeared to only be rinsed - wine stains in them next day) or replaced. Housekeeper broke a hair curling iron, then denied it and said "she found it like that on the floor", then front desk did nothing about it, and repeatedly said "I am just telling you what the housekeeper told me." Hallway carpets are disgustingly dirty. Service staff was very rude - with the exception of Sophia at the front desk. She was amazing and did everything she could to help us with our issues. We travel frequently and are generally not complainers - but this hotel was terrible. DO NOT recommend.
We had a great time for a week. The room was clean, towels were changed and the bed was made every day. The hotel is nice and new, the restaurant has no windows or terrace, which we missed. The pool on the roof was fantastic. Overall, it was very good, but there was no air conditioning, so we couldn't sleep well, which is a negative feeling for us.
Okey so let me put my honest opinion. Let’s start from the hotel room. I got the room where I can even slightly open the window, and now I’m sitting in dry air with AC. In the bathroom I had dust and dirt under the sink. Following the outflow from the shower was plugged, from other hand the receptionist took the information and next day the housekeeping repair that.
About the hotel. Super nice localisation in The center next to busy road. There is non free space parking lot next to the hotel and the only option is to buy a pass for underground hotel and pay for hours or daily pass. Zero information about that during the booking.
And now the final breakfast !! The most important meal during the day. Okey let me start, it’s soooooooo bad. Coffee made from pouder same with scrambled eggs. Awful. If you want to eat any ham or chorizo or cheese you will see beautiful plastic things on the plates. You had some musli and granola but there is almost nothing to add beside the chia seed and sunflower.
About the bread also frozen :( and the final you can get the sausages and bakon so fatty that is swiping in fat, and beside they are without the taste.
Any juices ? Yeah cheap without the taste and with a lot of sugar.
So my final opinion. If you want to spend time in the center, you are without the car, you don’t eat breakfast and don’t drink anything. This hotel is perfect match. If you like any from above rate is 2/5 max.
Room and premise was clean. AC was working well. Bed is super uncomfortable. Shower is weird because curtain keeps sticking to you when you which makes it uncomfortable. Service & hospitality is 0. Might as well book an airbnb. I am not …
Loved our stay here! Service was friendly and very accommodative (shoutout Guillermo the pool bartender), the amenities such as free breakfast and pool were lovely, and the room itself was exactly what we were looking for. And the location …
Utterly disgusting. Lobby vs rooms floors are two different universes. Go figure. Filthy and dirty. And not because of poor cleaning service, you can’t make things clean that are 50 years old. I would not stay there another night even for …
The hotel garners a 3/5 rating. Ideal for remote work, it offers a spacious desk and excellent Wi-Fi. The kitchenette with a refrigerator is a plus, although the lack of sponges, knives, and other cleaning supplies is a downside. The service is very good, but the breakfast is a letdown—spoiled tomatoes, no vegetable options, and only basic, instant coffee with little variety. The pool is small and lacks umbrellas, and the pervasive cigarette smoke due to no clear no-smoking policy is a significant drawback. It's impossible to open the windows without letting in the smoke, reminiscent of 50-year-old smokers' standards. Therefore, while the hotel is suitable for working remotely with windows closed, for a more complete hotel experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
